Here is a really fun pattern that I just finished designing after an antique quilt that I bought in Shipshewana. I named it Rebecca's quilt because I purchased the quilt from Rebecca at Rebecca Haarer Arts and Antiques shop. The quilt was started in the 1890s and thought to be finished in the 1920s. It was made in the Indianapolis Indiana area. It has over 4000 squares, consisting of starting with nine patches in the center that are 3 inches and working your way outside to the outer border where the pieces are 1 1/2 inches. The quilt finishes 102 x 111". I love the finished design this quilt makes, it would be interesting in other colorways also. The pattern can be ordered and will be sent as a CD for $12 plus shipping. The CD will contain at least a dozen photos, EQ file and diagram, block templates, and directions for assembling the quilt.
This wonderful scrap quilt was inspired simply by squares, pick your favorite accent color, (as you can see I love cheddar) add a bunch of squares, a bunch meaning over 2000 and put together this charming scrap quilt. It measures 102 in.² and I just love the secondary design it forms. The pattern can be ordered and will be sent as a CD for $12 plus shipping. It can also be sent as an e-mail attachment. The CD will contain at least a dozen photos, EQ file and diagram, block templates, and directions for assembling the quilt.
Shipshewana Happy Scrappy
The Shipshewana Happy Scrappy Quilt was inspired by a quilt that I saw in Shipshewana at a dear Jane retreat that an antique dealer brought for show and tell. It was one of those really scrappy pieced quilts that really had no rhyme or reason. After spending a lot of time looking at older antique quilts, I decided it was time to design my own scrap quilt. I definitely had to have some kind of order, something that just seemed to flow to the next block. I love quilts with a lot of pieces, this quilt has over 2500 pieces using just some of the simple shapes as squares, rectangles and triangles. It is a wonderful
way to use up some of your scraps. The quilt is easily put together by squares.Shipshewana Happy Scrappy measures 105 by 121 inches.

Sampler Times Four
My newest pattern I called Sampler Times Four, it is a really fun quilt to work on with easy blocks. Each quadrant of the quilt is the same so you make each block four times. I really enjoyed that part and the layout was inspired by the Compass Coverlet in the the Victoria and Albert Museum. Most of the blocks are 6 or 3 inches. Included in your pattern packet are all the patterns to make the quilt, a CD that contains some pictures, diagrams and the blocks drawn into electric quilt that can be ran off if you would like to change the size or print the foundations. The electric quilt CD can be opened with electric quilt five, six or seven. I will post more pictures after the quilt is quilted.
